Adaption channel 050 controls if the hidden (test) menu is enabled or not. On the 0210 US firmware it is set to 0 (disabled) by default.
The steps to enable it are (using VCDS/VAG-COM, using a VAG-1552 the steps are the same I just don't know the exact procedure) as follows -
1. Click Select under Select Control Module.
2. Click 37 - Navigation
3. Once controller is open, Click Adaptation - 10
4. Once adaptation screen opens, type 50 in the channel field and click read.
5. The stored value should be 0.
6. Type 1 in the new value field.
7. Click Test.
8. Click Save.
9. Click Done, Go Back
10. From Controller Screen Click Close Controller, Go Back - 06.
11. Reboot 510 with <,> and info keys.
12. Once it reboots, press and hold setup for 20-30 seconds and the hidden menu should appear.
und dies funktioniert bei einen RNS510 oder Columbus der neueren Version.
