TSI clutch noise

    Just wondering is following noise normal manual RS TSI?.i put gear to neutral and left door open.when engine is off and i put clutch-pedal down and quickly release that up there is no sound,but when you put engine on and try same,there can always hear one knocking sound in engine,when clutch is released up..is this normal sound to engine

    I cannot tell you if it's actually normal for the Octavia (mine is equipped with twin-clutch gearbox) but I know that noise - not that loud - from my previous car, a KIA cee'd. However, it never was or led to any problems.
