    Yesh, they commented on how surprised they were that the fuelling was so good with the box.... oh, and they stopped trying to sell me a remap lol

    So had a chance to run my car today at a very well respected local tuner and APR dealer here in Glasgow Ecotune, it was a charity event and they were running many cars all proceeds to charity.


    Worth noting they were also pushing sales of their own calibrations and APR calibrations and hardware and offering good discounts for bookings made today.


    So my car was last to run, same MAP6 settings I posted above along with the HJS downpipe, standard airbox with panel filter, large silicone inlet hose and Racingline turbo elbow.
    Tesco 99ron fuel and a little NF Octane booster.

    Here's another log I just took, IAT's much better since removing my aftermarket intake (not completely sealed inside so I suspect sucking in some hot air) and replaced it with stock airbox with front vent mod, panel filter, larger intake hose and turbo elbow.

    I'm seeing as much as 11 degrees of ignition advance at high RPM in 3rd, low IAT's, low trims.... I think there's quite a lot still to be had and I've not even fitted the intercooler yet.


    Thoughts? :)

    The car is already tuned and running well as you can see from my log (s), I will use the time at the dyno to fine tweak the boost / fuelling / timing, so it makes a better picture of the overall tune, through all gears and loads which is very difficult here on the roads in the UK, and of course to get an estimate of power output.

    Hi there, I agree, I think I have room for more but just not had a chance to try yet.


    I always run Shell V-Power 99 or Tesco 99, sometimes some octane booster for safety if going to the track/drag strip.


    I plan to book 2 hours on a local dyno in the next few weeks and tune properly on there, I also have an intercooler coming next week which I'll have fitted.


    Great little device the JB4, I honestly see no need to get a full ECU tune, keeping my warranty is nice too ;)

    Yesterday I fitted my intake and also recieved my 6 piston 356mm brake kit from Prodigy Werks










    I have also tuned my car with the JB4 at this moment only on MAP1 (+4psi) until Burger Tuning can confirm the correct AFR wiring to tap into. But the difference is huge and you can fully log all data, the car likes it and runs beautifully with no ignition retard or fuel issues.


    Very impressed with the JB4 I have to say!

    So I got my new wheels fitted yesterday, very pleased with them!


    McLaren 570s (made by APP-TECH Italy) Forged - 19x8J, ET40.5 with 57.1mm center bore, perfect fit! Fitted them with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 225/35/19


    Need to fit center caps which I have coming in the next few days.


    Thoughts?

    Erstens, ich entschuldige mich für meine Übersetzung, ich spreche kein Deutsch, also verlasse dich auf Google translate, ich hoffe es macht Sinn! : D
    Ich wollte mein eigenes Auto posten, das ich vor 4 Wochen hier in Großbritannien bekommen habe.

    Vorübergehendes Raumspar-Ersatzrad
    Beheizte Waschdüsen vorne
    Crew-Schutz-Assistent
    Seitenairbags hinten


    Ich besaß vorher einen Audi 8P RS3 Quattro, aber aufgrund meiner expandierenden Familie brauchte ich etwas mehr Platz. Ich bin sehr beeindruckt von der RS245, es ist ein ausgezeichnetes Auto!


    Das erste, was ich tat, war, es zu meinem vertrauenswürdigen Detailer für einen neuen Autoschutzdienst mit Keramikbeschichtung zu bringen und ihn gleichzeitig dazu zu bringen, meine Chromabzeichen zu entfernen und neue von SuperSkoda gekaufte zu beantragen:






    Sieht sicher besser aus als neu und sollte mindestens 2 Jahre lang einen guten Schutz bieten!


    Also habe ich ein paar Pläne für das Auto, schon habe ich ein paar Modifikationen gekauft:


    • Burger Motorsports JB4 Tuning Box, sollte in der Region von 300PS + anbieten und kann für Händlerbesuche entfernt werden, so wird die Auto-Garantie freundlich halten - leider muss ich warten, um das zu passen, weil es eine leichte Variation mit dem neuen RS245 gibt, der Lambda Die Sensorverdrahtung unterscheidet sich von den älteren Autos und es ist nicht klar, an welcher Leitung AFR gemessen werden soll. Burger Tuning arbeitet jetzt daran und eine Lösung sollte bald kommen!


    • Arma Hyperflow Intake System - gekauft von einem UK Golf Forum, hat es zu einem guten Preis bekommen, obwohl es keinen großen Unterschied in der Leistung macht, sieht es wirklich gut aus!




    • Geschmiedete Super Light Räder (4 x vorne) vom McLaren 570s! Es ist ein Glück, dass diese VAG Fahrzeuge, 5x112, 19x8J, ET40.5 mit 57,1mm Mitte, perfekt passen! Ich sammle sie nächste Woche und neue Reifen auf Michelin PS4-S 225/35/19, sollte gut aussehen




    So für jetzt das ist alles, als nächstes suche ich nach Fallrohr mit HJS-Kompatibilität mit RS245, sagen Bull-X, dass sie etwas in 8-12 Wochen, und Aufhängungsfedern haben, die niedriger als das Original sind, aber mit DCC kompatibel, wenn das möglich ist ?
